Fun day at the aquarium

Today Jack and I went to the Dallas World Aquarium with our friends, Mandy & Brett. The boys were good and seemed to enjoy it! I think the turtles and stingrays were a favorite ... and anything else low to the ground and easy to see.I know they look sleepy but this was taken when we first arrived!

The Little Gym

We had class at The Little Gym today and I finally remembered to take my camera.Jack, Brett, & Mandy waiting for "The Beasts" class to begin.

Mommy spotting Jack on the beam. He just started trying this a week or so ago. He does a really good job as long as he can feel me touching him. If I let go, he freaks out a little. He says "Dip, step, dip, step" even though that's NOT what he's doing.

Brett is the master of the bar! He can also hang like a monkey. Jack's not brave enough to try that, yet.

Jack loves just trying to navigate around the mats without falling. Brett was trying to catch Jack and hug him! Awwww!

Jack's tent

I brought Jack's tent downstairs for him to play with today....it kind of takes up most of the room so we keep it upstairs. He brought all kinds of things into the tent and made himself a nice cozy nook.

I was looking through the screen part of the tent and he was grabbing my nose.

He likes to spin around in circles in the tent until he crashes into something and falls over. Once he's over the pain from the landing, he's up and doing it again!

All by myself

We went to the park today and I was suprised by how much Jack was doing all by himself. I basically got to stand around and take pictures. What a big boy!

Summer Fun!

Here's the pool I bought Jack this summer. The canopy (which is inside out right now) has sprinkler holes in it and you're supposed to hook this tube to the hose so water sprinkles down the center of it. The problem is ....when you turn on the water, it is too heavy and it falls over.Jack cheesing it up for Daddy.

He likes to say "One..Two...Three...SIT!" and jump onto his tush.

Jack just got a basketball goal and seems to really like it.

When we were at the birthday party last weekend, Jack was in the playroom and discovered a baby doll. He seemed to really like it. When we got home I remembered that I had my old cabbage patch kids in the closet so I gave him this one. His name is Augie and now he's Jack's baby!Jack and Augie watching The Wonder Pets

A Birthday Party

Jack was invited to a birthday party for his Kindermusik friends, Tate and Emily. They turned two today! Wow!! We had so much fun and even got to play in the pool!

I forgot to post this picture of Jack and Grandma from her visit in June. Aren't they a cute pair?

Jack's newest passion is "Cuh-luhs" (colors). He discovered that they work on the tile, too! Thank goodness for the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser!!

It's a miracle! Jack took the rest of my cheeseburger and actually ate it! He won't eat bread, cheese, or meat but somehow he liked it!!

His first time in a regular bathtub. No more toddler tub! He has a Shrek sponge and "cuh-luhs" for the tub, too. The only problem is now he cries when bathtime is over.

Jack likes to put his head and face directly in the water.....until he starts choking.

This was an old pool we got for the dogs (they never used it) so I got it out for Jack during one of the rare times when it WASN'T raining.

Kirby was drinking the pool water, but wouldn't come in.

Splashing and pouring water on his head are two of Jack's favorite things to do in the pool.
