Daddy put together Jack's new picnic table he got from Santa (Thanks, Mommaw and Poppaw)
He was distracted by the t-ball...and the chilly weather.

Curious George and Jack's new room

Jack got this Curious George stuffed animal from Uncle Bobby, Aunt Regina, Noah & Kylie and it has become his new favorite cuddly friend (sorry, Shrek). He has gone with us many places.
More progress on Jack's big boy room.....curtains and furniture have made the move.
Jack's new easel from Mommaw and Poppaw. He has used magnet letters, markers and paper, and chalk. Chalk is, by far, his favorite (it figures,... chalk is the messiest) !

Here are some pictures of Jack opening presents on Christmas day. Later that night we took a drive to Frisco to see the lights on Main Street. They have a light show set to music on a local radio station. It was pretty neat and we even got out of the car to check out the fountain and the giant Christmas tree!! Jack had a great time but it was very cold!

My new camera

I got a new camera for Christmas and was messing with the settings tonight during Jack's bath. Sorry if there's any "inappropriate" shots!

Daddy's shoes

Here's a picture of Jack in Daddy's steel-toed shoes. Pardon the outfit, he's wearing jammie-bottoms with his shirt. After a hard day's work it's nice to get into some comfy pants, huh? (shoes optional)

New hat and mittens

After a wet and cloudy week of temperatures in the 30's and 40's with strong winds, I finally decided to get Jack a hat and mittens. He helped pick them out -- he really loves wearing a hat for some reason?? The day after I bought them the temperature got up in the 60's and even 70's (with lots of sunshine) and hasn't really gone back down yet. They say we're supposed to get a big cool down after this weekend.......I won't hold my breath. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures of him enjoying his new accessories!

Santa's Village

Matt, Jack & I went with our friends Mandy, Brett & Seth to Santa's Village. We had so much fun in spite of the cold weather. It was only about 45 degrees but it felt much colder. I guess we've been spoiled by mild Texas winters. It definitely put us in the Christmas spirit!!

Ho, Ho, Ho...

Here are a few more pictures from last week...Don't adjust your monitor....this is a very BLURRY picture. Unfortunately, it's the only recent family photo we've got! I think we are a VERY attractive group!
Trying to get Jack to "pose" for a Christmas card photo
Poppaw and Jack enjoying a book in their jammies
Aww....what a cutie. He's really gotten into Santa this year. When he sees a picture of Santa Clause, he'll grab his belly and say "Ho, Ho, Ho...Merry Christmas".
Distracted by the fur of the hat
What's wrong with this picture?
For some reason Jack has started putting on other people's shoes and trying to walk in them. Mine seem to be easier for him to handle than Daddy's steel-toed work shoes. He said "Mommy's tennis shoes" and was sliding (and falling) around the family room and kitchen.

Getting ready for Christmas

Matt's parents came into town last weekend so we put up our Christmas tree for their visit.Jack checking out the angel.
Looking through the ornaments with Mommaw
Helping mommy hang ornaments
He can reach the middle of the tree! What a difference a year makes!
Check out baby sister in mommy's fat belly!
"Ho, Ho, Ho, Mommaw"
Santa Jack?
Putting on the finishing touches
Reading with Mommaw
Last Christmas....Jack was still using the walker and could only reach the bottom 12 inches of the tree!!
He looked likes such a baby...where's his hair?
