Meeting new people

This is Holly, a nurse that took care of us from Jack's delivery, stopping by to see how big Jack's gotten and meet Lyla.
Jack and Mommy reunited!
I managed to capture a picture of the illusive Dr. Joseph. I never got one at Jack's delivery.
Lyla's first big test! The hearing/vision screening. She passed with flying colors...she MUST be gifted!

Happy Birthday, Lyla Kate!

Lyla Kate Fisher was born on April 16, 2008 at 12:31 pm. She weighed in at only 6 pounds, 15.1 ounces and measured 19 inches long. While her brother gained instant recognition for his large head, Miss Lyla's long and delicate (canoe-like) feet and fingers-for-toes got tongues wagging among the hospital staff.

A shower for baby sister

Some of the folks from Matt's office threw a baby shower for us on Monday. Here are the pics. We had a nice time and really appreciate everyone thinking about us and welcoming baby sister to the world.

Celebration Park

It was about 80 degrees today so I took Jack to Celebration Park. It's a nice park, but was really crowded! I was very proud of how independent he's becoming!!

A night with Chuck E. Cheese

In an effort to spoil Jack rotten before his baby sister arrives....we took him to Chuck E. Cheese Sunday night. We had a good time but will not be going again on a Sunday night! TOO CROWDED! We realized that we really only have a little less than 2 weeks to be a family of 3. Matt's parents are coming the weekend before the baby is coming so we're trying to find things to do as a family before then. Kinda' hard when I'm waddling around and miserable all the time! There's Chuck E !
Whack a mole (or ABC)...
Jack would roll the ball up the ramp and when it rolled back to him he would hand it to me or Matt for a turn.
