Clownin' Around
I've been trying to decide what Jack should be for Halloween and I saw a couple of cute costumes at Target yesterday so I bought both to try on at home. Here they are........
"Jack O'Lantern" (Irish, maybe?)
He looks pretty happy in this picture but freaked out very quickly when he couldn't get the hood off.....so, I'm returning it.
As soon as I took this off the hanger and untied the back, he was ready to step into it. He kept looking at his wrists saying "red hand, blue hand" and once I got the hat on him.......forget about it!! This is the winner!!

Another day at the park
On Saturday, we took a family trip to the park. It was only 80 degrees but it was humid so it sure felt a LOT hotter than that! Jack had a good time feeding the ducks ....Displaying that rifle of an arm again

Duckies and Fishies and Geese, Oh My!
We've had some much cooler temperatures lately, and today was just about as perfect as it gets....sunny and about 74 degrees! Jack and I went to Bethany Lakes park to feed the critters.
These geese may not look scary but they are loud and HUNGRY!! Once I got this picture, we left this part of the lake and found a new goose-free spot.
For some reason the ducks at our new spot weren't hungry but the fish were! They were jumping out of the water to get the bread. You can't really tell from this picture but Jack thought they were funny.
Jack waving to the "funny fish". He says "funny" all the time....."funny tv", "funny mommy", "funny daddy", "funny Kirby", "funny kitty".......you get the idea.
He was being so good in that stroller I decided to let him run free and THANK GOODNESS he never fell in the water!
Jack threw the last piece of bread to a new group of ducks that swam up. Well...he threw it AT the ducks more than TO the ducks...no ducks were harmed, though.
Unfortunately, he just realized what saying "Bye-Bye" to the ducks actually means....

Playgroup
A few of us mom's in the neighborhood have boys who were all born within a couple months of each other and today we finally got together for a playdate in our park.
Jack (at the bottom of the steps), Max (ahead of Jack on the steps), Noah (climbing up the slide), and big Jack (Noah's 4 year old brother) on the second level.
Luke and Jack find something to do in the shade that requires little energy.....must be time to go home!

Another Birthday Party
Jack was invited to another birthday party this weekend. Our neighbor, Luke, turned 2 and had a pool party! We had so much fun and it turned out to be a great day! We were all worn out when we finally came home. Thanks, Luke!
