Big boy bed
We bought Jack a big boy bed this past weekend and put it together on Sunday morning. He was so excited to play in it, but we weren't sure how he'd sleep in it. The first night he went to sleep within about 5 minutes of me leaving the room , but I found him asleep on the floor the next morning. The second night, I checked on him at about 10 pm and he was asleep on the floor. I think his pacifier is falling out of the bed and when he goes to look for it, he just decides to stay on the floor. I had an extra pillow on the floor so that if he fell out, it would cushion the fall, but I think it was confusing him. He's also napped with no problems the past two days! YEA, Jack!! Anyone reading this.....knock on wood!!"Check out my new bed!"

New potty!
I bought Jack a potty chair on a whim today. When I showed it to him and told him it was his potty he said, "Jack's potty... penis" and he pointed into the potty. Here are a few pictures of him checking out the potty (fully clothed, including Daddy's hat).

Jack's 2 year pictures
We went to Sears on Saturday for Jack's 2 year pictures. Although he was very good DURING the session (had a full-blown tantrum afterward), we didn't like very many of the pictures. Here are a few I saved.....with my own personal "enhancements" added to some.

Halloween!
I let Jack watch me carve the pumpkin this year (mostly because I didn't get to it while he napped) and he kept saying "eye, eye, nose, mouth, face" and pointing to all the parts. He got to touch the pumpkin "guts"(not real happy about it...he said "icky") and I let him "explore the finished product.
We decided to go to a local church's Fall Festival since Jack doesn't really eat candy and we only know about 5 neighbors. He wore his clown hat around the house for about 15 minutes but then held it in his lap in the car on the way to the festival. Crazy kid!
While Jack is clearly NOT going to be riding the pony, Brett is picking out which one he wants to ride!
