I meant to post these pictures a few weeks ago, but then completely forgot. I put Jack down for a nap one day and he sat in his bed "reading" for over an hour. He gets to hear 3 books before naptime/bedtime and when I left his room, I heard him saying "book 4", "book 5", etc. up to about book 12. He finally did fall asleep and when he woke up I could hear him immediately reading again. I decided to bring my camera with me to get him. Here's what I found......
He had every book from his room in his bed...all 17 of them!!

What a goofball!
Ok, I'll take the blame for the pants....he had an accident in his jeans and so I put jammie-bottoms on him, but the slippers and bucket for a hat were his idea. WHAT A GOOFBALL!!

SPRING FEVER!!
Yesterday was a beautiful spring day so Jack and I spent about an hour outside having a nice snack and coloring. Here are a few pictures.....he tried to smell the markers a few times and ended up with a pink and yellow nose. He also put the red marker to his mouth later and it looked like lipstick! It was hilarious!

Such a big boy
I was just looking through some pictures I took of Jack and was noticing how big he looks. He has certainly grown up fast! I know he will be a good, gentle, and loving big brother! And I'm sure he'll be a huge help to me since he's already my little "organizer". He seems to line up EVERYTHING in rows (especially alphabetically) and if you move something he's already organized, he will notice and put it back in it's place. He has also started noticing when a magazine is missing a page number (because there's an advertisement on that page) and he'll bring it to me and say "you want to write number 63?" or whatever number happens to be missing. He cracks me up every day. Occasionally I'll be driving in the car and notice him singing along to the radio. The other day we were outside playing and he started singing "my hump... my hump... my hump, my hump, my hump" out of the blue?? Sooo funny.
Each day I'm amazed at how much he's changed in his short 28 months of life. I can only imagine what the next 28 months will bring...we are in for quite an adventure, I'm sure!
