Lyla Kate Fisher was born on April 16, 2008 at 12:31 pm. She weighed in at only 6 pounds, 15.1 ounces and measured 19 inches long. While her brother gained instant recognition for his large head, Miss Lyla's long and delicate (canoe-like) feet and fingers-for-toes got tongues wagging among the hospital staff.

A shower for baby sister

A night with Chuck E. Cheese

In an effort to spoil Jack rotten before his baby sister arrives....we took him to Chuck E. Cheese Sunday night. We had a good time but will not be going again on a Sunday night! TOO CROWDED! We realized that we really only have a little less than 2 weeks to be a family of 3. Matt's parents are coming the weekend before the baby is coming so we're trying to find things to do as a family before then. Kinda' hard when I'm waddling around and miserable all the time!
