February fun

Here's what February has brought us:

Jack got a haircut the other day -- he looks so cute and grown up!!

We woke up to a few inches of snow on the ground and it's STILL falling....

Lyla was very excited!!

Matt went outside and made a snowball - here's Jack throwing the snowball to Daddy,

and Daddy throwing it back (Kirby's thinking about jumping up and grabbing it)

I took the kids out in the front yard to build our VERY FIRST snowman EVER!!!

Ok, so I did most of the building -- Lyla "patted" the snowman for me (she kept calling him Frosty) and Jack helped place the carrot nose.

After drying off and warming up, we went to the library for our own private story time. I guess no other Texans were brave enough to venture out...

Since I had my camera with me, I decided to take some pictures of the beautiful ( and rare) winter wonderland...

This is what our snowman looked like about 2 hours after we made him. You can see how much snow has "replaced" the bald patches we made.
